Former Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Adaeze Oduah has join the race to contest for the Senatorial seat of Anambra North Senatorial Zone.Those in the know strongly believe that she will definitely emerge the winner, due closeness to Mr. President.

Her decision to contest for the we gathered is as a result of pressure being mounted on her from stakeholders in the State. It has also been gathered that the ex-Aviation minister who is vying for the position on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, had already picked up her nomination form.

It was gathered that intense consultations have been going on since then while the delegation continued mounting pressure on Princess Oduah until she finally succumbed and picked the party’s nomination form in Abuja yesterday.

Reacting to the development, former PDP governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu and former Chairman of the party in the state, Chief Edwin Pandola Okwuosa lauded the positive response from Ex-Aviation Minister describing it as a sign of political and economic renaissance for the people.

Dr. Obiogbolu and Chief Okwuosa, while speaking to newsmen in Onitsha, said that the move to give the people of Anambra North impactful representation by Princess Oduah is hope rekindled for the people who have been suffering in the midst of plenty.

They therefore called on the party leadership and the people of Anambra North to not only give room for equity by allowing Princess Oduah from Ogbaru block to clinch the party ticket but also work for her victory in the polls so as to achieve the second desire of the people having produced the governor during the last polls in the state. Recall that Stella Oduah is not new to controversies. You would also recall the controversial purchase of two bulletproof BMW cars by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority allegedly for Oduah at a whopping N255m.
